McLennan Community College Police Department is an 8 member Police Department. There are 5 fully commissioned Texas Police officers and 3 Security Guards. The Police Department is Commissioned by the Texas Penal Code and the Texas Education Code. The Campus is protected by these 8 officers 24 hours 7 days a week. During the week Monday-Friday, there are 2 Police Officers from 8:00am to 12:00am and 1 Security Guard that works from 12:00am til 8:00am. Another Security Guard works Monday thru Friday from 6:00am until 2:00pm. On the weekends there is 1 Police Officer that works from 12:00pm until 12:00am on Saturday and Sunday. From 12:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday and Sunday is controlled by a Security Guard. The shifts at this department are 8:00am until 4:00pm, 4:00pm until 12:00am, and 12:00 until 8:00am Monday thru Friday. On the Weekends, the shifts are 12 hour shifts, which are 12:00am until 12:00pm and 12:00pm until 12:00am. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
