The Police Academy is a 560 hour training course. The course lasts from 8:00 am to generally 5:00pm Monday through Friday. In the Academy I was able to have learned subjects ranging from the Penal Codes to Traffic laws. My most favorite area was, OF COURSE, the Gun Range. | ||||||||||||||||

The police academy is tough but very enjoyable and well worth the time and effort. The Heart of Texas Police Academy is directed by Director Dave Keel. The Academy is humorously known in the area as 'Dave's Academy.' Thanks Dave! | ||||||||||||||||
